What nursing school did or are you attending?

It's competitive and challenging but the education is cheaper than most colleges and so I feel I've gotten more for my money.

I just graduated from Beth Israel's Associate RN program in Manhattan and am starting NYU to finish my BSN this fall.

I went to Beth Israel - just graduated on Tuesday!

hey bronx CC? im thinking in going there too...either, la guardia, hostos or bronx CC...

is it intense in clinicals there? like compare to other colleges?

It is very intense and very competitive, you basically have to have at least a 3,4 gpa to get in and score fairly well on the pax-rn if not they wait list you and it may take a semester or two. Howver if you get below a b on any of your pre-req (ap 1 &2, soc, pysch, etc) you not getting in. Hostos is a litlle easier, however BMCC and LaGuardia are about the same.

well im done with my prereqs already.. just getting to the prog is my prob...lol do you think hostos is a good college to go to for LPN? and are they still accepting to applications?

I start GST Boces in September. I was accepted at CCC for my RN but with 4 kids I thought I would start out with LPN. Can't wait til Sept!!
