i found a similar thread in the ohio nurses forum.
i thought i'd do the same here in the new york nurses forum.

hey bronx CC? im thinking in going there too...either, la guardia, hostos or bronx CC...is it intense in clinicals there? like compare to other colleges?
It is very intense and very competitive, you basically have to have at least a 3,4 gpa to get in and score fairly well on the pax-rn if not they wait list you and it may take a semester or two. Howver if you get below a b on any of your pre-req (ap 1 &2, soc, pysch, etc) you not getting in. Hostos is a litlle easier, however BMCC and LaGuardia are about the same.

thanks for the infos..
well im done with my prereqs already.. just getting to the prog is my prob...lol do you think hostos is a good college to go to for LPN? and are they still accepting to applications?
