What nursing field do you think is easiest and hardest?

I know nursing in itself is hard but I just wanted to know what you all think what nursing field is easiest to do and which is the hardest?

Easiest- As long as you aren't scrubbing and the anesthesiologist doesn't kill anyone, OR nursing seems really easy. Review pt info, set stuff up and let the surgeons do their thing. Forgot an instrument? I'll get that for you. Of course if things don't go as planned in any field, it will become difficult.

Hardest- Can't be too sure, but from this thread psych nurses seem to be angered the easiest. Must be the stress from dealing with psych patients so I'll give it to them, just so they can calm down a little. It's only an opinion post.

Hardest is the one you dislike the most.

Easiest is the one you love the best.

This is one reason you will rotate through all the major specialties in nursing school, to give you some ideas.

Hardest: Travel Nursing & Float Nurse doing Medical Surgical Nursing, Orthopedics, and Floating to different areas of the hospital

Easiest: Doctor's Office and Rehab Nursing (patients recovering from traumatic events like brain injuries, strokes, or patients who need long term rehab from Orthopedic Injuries)

This info is only from my personal experience working as a Traveling Nurse, Float Nurse, and Staff Nursing. I've never worked in Neonatal Care, ER, Prison, or Psyche. But I would think working in a prison or Psyche Nursing is very stressful. You don't know if a patient will physically assault you.
