Hardest: Travel Nursing & Float Nurse doing Medical Surgical Nursing, Orthopedics, and Floating to different areas of the hospital Easiest: Doctor's Office and Rehab Nursing (patients recovering from traumatic events like brain injuries, strokes, or patients who need long term rehab from Orthopedic Injuries) This info is only from my personal experience working as a Traveling Nurse, Float Nurse, and Staff Nursing. I've never worked in Neonatal Care, ER, Prison, or Psyche. But I would think working in a prison or Psyche Nursing is very stressful. You don't know if a patient will physically assault you.
