A stethoscope is always a must, as well as scrubs from your program. I would suggest also to get some flashcards and well whatever textbooks your school uses. Next I would look for some practice questions books for your classes such as the q&a review for nclex.

I've been trying to figure that out too. I really hope I don't have to wait until orientation for a supply list because it would only give us 2 weeks to gather everything. Not possible! I need to know how much I'm looking at spending lol. (I go to a different school; just venting lol).

At my school all supplies except the stethoscope and uniform come in a kit which you're required to purchase and which is handed out to you on the first day of school. Other than those 3 items, you need normal school supplies (pens, oencils, paper, etc.).

Ok. I thank u yourfavenurse. I was just wanting to see what I could start compiling. I don't have orientation stuff till June 22nd.

Eru. Thank you. I got an nclex from a nurse at work and some recent editions of some of my classes at goodwill. I didn't think about flashcards thank u. Reviewing w practice questions is fabulous. I have some pharmacology and nclex apps on my phone too.

IShaybie. I hear ya. I saved some of my tax return to get started and will use part of next years to finish out the program. I'm still needing to plot out supplies. And paying for the incidental fees though.

Don't buy the package. Use Amazon for books. Get a good quality stethoscope but not ridiculously expensive. You can get a nice Littman online for $35-50. Scrubs come from the university. I hated the male scrubs, I looked like a parking attendant.

Buy a storage clipboard, book bag, and laptop
