What makes a shoe a "nurse's shoe"?

Published

My supplies list for school says I need a pair of white nurse's shoes.

What makes a shoe a "nurse's shoe"? Anything white? White and sturdy? White and comfortable? Any particular brands?

I don't like Crocs but I'm okay with tennis shoes or gym shoes. Is that what they have in mind?

I got these;

I love them. I have worn them to clinicals for 6 months, and I am thinking of getting another pair for everyday. They are great. I got away with the little bit of pink on them too. No one ever said a thing!! I got them for arround 40$ with free shipping. I searched on the web for the best deal last fall.

I wear Nike Shox & I love them! They even come in all white!
