What is the longest time to wait for NCLEX results?

You poor thing! I hope you hear your results soon. did you say you're in CA? Why are they so slow? Sheesh! I hate waiting too...that's all we seem to do these days! Good luck! :) :)

Did you ever contact the BRN to make sure that they ahve everything? Remember that if they are missing anything they will not notify you.

Actually, I received a letter soon after my school sent the letter saying that I was going to graduate that stated that they still needed my final transcripts before they could process my file. I did receive my ATT and did take my boards so now I'm just waiting for the processing of my transcripts (which I overnighted when they were ready last week). Of course, they say that could take 10-30 business days to complete. Oy Vey. I know many people had difficulties with the paperwork part of it with the Ca BRN but they really have been on the ball with me so far. Now if they would just process my transcripts, Id be all set!

I took the NCLEX the 1st week of June 2004. I didn't receive word of passing until July 27th!! Even if I would check online for all my classmates (most of us took it in June) none of our names popped up. I called the BRN and they didn't give out any info. I called my school who then stated they were waiting to receive a few more students info, so they can mail everything over in one packet!! WTF!! I was so mad because I sent in all my stuff so super early along with 95% of the class!! By the way, I live in California.

I don't know what goes on in your state, but this is worth a shot. Where I live (Delaware), we can't call a number or anything to find out whether or not we passed BUT if you go on our State Board of Nursing page they have a list of all registered nurses. Typically, your name will appear on that page with "RN" after it within 2 - 5 days after taking the NCLEX if you passed. Otherwise you have to wait at least a week if not longer to get notification in the mail. Give it a try.

Sorry I didn't post back. Just found out day before yesterday. And just had gone in for an outpatient procedure and didn't feel so hot even though I got the news a couple days ago.

And I was a CA 8-year-retake and they had all my records and previous RN number. So I don't know if there is a difference between new grads or retakes, like maybe going into different departments. Who knows. But good luck to all of you. The waiting just drains you stupid.

Oh my God. How AWFUL. That is not fair. I am so glad you have your results now. I would have been ready for a lobotomy after all that time.
