This will be laid out in your entrance packet or at orientation. Each program has different requirements. Some give you everything and you pay a lab fee for it. Some require you to purchase all your supplies yourself.

And please do not double post under different accounts, someone just posted the exact same question 20 min ago.....

Comfortable shoes, a reliable watch, and a good dose of humility.

Besides the program requirements:
Multicolored pens
Highlighters
An assignment notebook (something small to keep due dates and important info in)
Snacks, classes always run long, and sometimes you won't have time for lunch. Trail mix or breakfast bars are easy to stick in your bag.
Extra three ring binder for all the loose handouts you'll get. Trust me, when finals come around you'll want to be able to find all your handouts.
Hope this helps!

Binder, notebooks, index cards, hiliters, pens, snacks. Some people record the lectures. I don't. I just take good notes. They should tell you everything you need at orientation. We had to have a stethoscope, penlight, BP cuff, all that good stuff. A good pair of shoes for clinical. Also a watch with a second hand. I got those little pocket notebooks so I can stick them in my pocket at clinicals. Also a clipboard that you can store stuff in. It's my saving grace for clinicals. You will need a lot of stuff. It seems neverending.
I was not the OP if this. I have no idea why it says I am. That "original post" was my reply to the person who actually asked this. Very weird.
I just reported to the admins to see if they can remove the post. I am a block 2 student (soon to be block 3 yay!) and do not need to know what supplies are necessary lol.

As someone stated you will find out all that you need from your school. but please please please get comfortable shoes for clinicals.I am just finishing up my first semester. We had to wear white shoes and I figured it would only be twice a week so I just got some cheap white pumas for 40 bucks. My feet were killing me. Literally. I sucked it up the entire semester because I could not afford to get another pair, but I will definitely be asking Santa for some comfy Nikes. Lol. I've been a good girl!

a good voice recorder if your going to RN,,,lpn notes are easy enough that you wont need one and the classes are so long, you wont have time to relisten anyway.
