Good Morning!
I am interested to see what you all would include in your in house emergency bag. We currently do not have one (or two), and I would like to have something to grab and go since we don't always know what the problem is when called. I do want to include the following for sure:
Now of course I will be including gloves, gauze, other basic first aid supplies. What else could you suggest that would be good to go in this kit? Thank you for your help!

I frequently visit, camp, and stay in areas of Alaska which are remote, have no road access, and no cell phone coverage. I take one of my ER bags with me and it contains: (this is high points as I am relying on memory)
-suture kit
-sterile supplies to include gloves, sharps, dressings, saline for infusion, IV tubing
-touniquette(s)
-alcohol wipes and a small vial of alcohol (don't want to waste my whiskey on this application)
-hand sanitizer
-rescue inhaler
-asa and ibuprophen
-antiemetics (oral and rectal)
-stethescope and BP cuff
this equipment fits nicely within one of the larger pockets of my primary backpack.
My apologies, I see that the OP is wanting a guide for INHOUSE emergency kits...
reading comprehension is a good thing.
LOL That is good thinking ahead!!

It is nearly a crime to be stuck in the wilds of AK with a medical need for alcohol and to have to waste the Jack. It will work in a pinch though.
