What is your course load for your FNP program? Are you going full or part time? Is it taking you 2,3 or more years to complete? Tell me your experiences? Advise?

I am working full time and school part time. My part-time load feels like full time course work. When clinical starts, I will have to cut back on my work load because I am going to have a miserable life haha

I am doing exactly like what renzlao is doing. I will work full time and study part time. Because I take two summer sessions, I will still finish my program in two years. For the last 3 semesters with clinical, I plan to do two 12 hour shift at night to barely pay my bills and have time for clinicals
I wish I can stop working but can't. I need to work. So I'm taking 2 courses at a time. 8 semesters total including summer.

I think it is sad that people suddenly think that this program can, or should be done in a couple of years, when most of us have ourselves and families to support.
It took me 4 years.
Back in the day, you got RN experience while working on your advanced degree.
The people that didn't do this are very unimpressive.

its best to do part time if you're working
