Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

hi everyone, im new here and im not yet a nurse. actually i'll be starting school soon and i would like some info as to what i should expect as a pre nursing student. any kind of info would be greatly appreciated. i've already made up my mind to do my degree in nursing but im just a bit anxious ( cant wait to start) im from the caribbean and im hoping to do the nursing course in the united states.
im not sure if im posting this the right place. correct me if im wrong.

Welcome to allnurses. There are several forums devoted to student nurses where you can get involved and learn a lot. You can post your questions there and read the many threads that others have contributed to. Good luck when you start school. Hoping you are successful and that we'll see you here often.

I grew up in the caribbean as well
this sounds a little silly but did you take your courses in the caribbean as well or are you taking them in the US?

no i will be doing mu courses in the US. which island are u from. they do nursing courses all over the caribbean i think
I grew up in barbados...i really don't know how the pre-nursing or nursing process works in the caribbean in general though.
HEY i'm from barbados do you remember which part of the island you grew up in?How old were you when you moved?
of course I do, I grew up in st michael, went to high school there and moved here just before my 17th birthday.
