Hello. I am taking nursing fundamentals and Advanced A&P next semester. I believe Nursing Fundamentals has to do with nursing history and theory. However, I am not sure what else it is about and what to expect in this class. Our school lets us take this class a semester before you enter the program. (I'm entering Fall 2011) Can anyone let me know what this class is about and what to expect? Thanks so much. :)
Yes is teaches the nursing theory and history of nursing, they also have you learning medical terminology and math calculations. from when I did it. you may have a mini project to choose a health problem and discuss it in class (ex talking about diabetes, or high cholesterol).
We did that exact thing. We made a brochure on the condition, presented it and wrote different types of care plans for it (teaching, self-concept, etc)

I just completed NF this Fall. I treated the class as an online course. I read the chapters and took the online quizzes repeatedly and passed with a B average. Over 30 students failed the class for various reasons. Read the chapters and take as much practice exams as you can and you will make an A. Good luck
