What is your degree in other than nursing?

Published

For all the ladies and gentleman who are in an accelerated program or who was in the accelerated what was your degree in before nursing?

Specializes in Cardiac, Neuro, Progressive Care.

BA Broadcast Communication

Bachelor of Science in Biology... couple classes short of a double major in chemistry, I followed the pre-med program for Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Currently doing just fine in my first year of the After Degree BSc Nursing at the University of Alberta in Camrose.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication - worked as a healthcare marketing professional for 20+ years. I found it was the nurses (more so than the physicians most times) that would either "make or break" our facility's reputation. Good patient care is the bottom line! I'm excited to be entering nursing school next month and to start making a difference for my future patients!

Bachelor of Arts in French Language with a minor in Religious Studies. And I don't even regret it :)
