Maybe someone else can post Testing sites. The icon on EC's website kept showing an error message.
Thank you for the info on the workshops! I have been navigating around Excelsiors site and just cannot find where the actual CPNE testing sites are. I am new to Excelsior, taking my 1st exam in a couple of weeks!

I see you are relatively new with Excelsior. Just wondering what your early thoughts are? I am an LPN looking into my RN. I would just like your opinion on Excelsior and distance learning. Thanks:)

There are many threads and posts in the distance learning forum that address people's experiences with Excelsior. Most are positive, some are not. Bottom line is that it is a viable route toward an RN license for many who could not get their nursing education completed through a traditional program. However, not everyone who tries to go with EC is successful. Some people can not maintain their enthusiasm and just let it go. Most, however, fail the CPNE at the end three times and are dismissed from the program, or they fail once or twice and give up. The CPNE is undoubtedly the hardest aspect of the program and trips up many, at least one time. There is a lengthy thread about EC graduates and what they are now doing, a good promotion for the success of the program. HTH

Excelsior rocked for me!
I don't think there was a negative experience. Well, stressed to the max for 3 days is not fun, but that was part of the process.
I encourage all self disciplined personnel who can allow for those 3 days of heck, to pursue your degree with Excelsior.
I have only positive things to say about EC. I graduated Feb 20,2008. IT took me a year to complete. It was a stressful year. All I did was eat, breathe and prepared for the exams and CPNE. It was the best thing that I could have done for my career. No regrets and I had no problems finding a job.
Thanks for all the feedbacks. I need to hear all those positives to get me into gear. I have been thinking about doing this for years. I could of been done by now! I know it will be alot of hard work but this forum sure gives that extra push to get started and stick with it:)
