Hello all....I am going for the BSN at UT school of nursing in Houston.
My science gpa is 4.00 and my gpa in nursing pre-requisite class is 3.78.
I got an 86 on the HESI entrance test.
The reason I ask this is because I don't have much experience in the healthcare field...I volunteered at my high school's clinic...and I am part of the national honor society. But is this enough?

....most likely. I volunteered at my local hospital in he cafe so no patient interaction and had the same grades as you and I got into my program. I think you'll be fine.

My school doesn't look at healthcare experience..that's why we go to school to to get a degree and later healthcare experience. You have a pretty good chance to get in but it also depends on the waiting list.

Hi, I got in and had a 3.6 in science, 3.3 in pre reqs and a 83 on NET. I had a little experience as a medical assistant. I think as long as you do well on your interview you have a high chance
