What are the biggest challenges facing nursing today

I am a BSN student on my very last class and one of my assignments is to do a paper on what are the biggest challenges facing nurse leaders today? As I do my research I thought it would be a great idea to get the opinion of my fellow nurses. Do any of you have thoughts on what is our biggest challenge as we go into 2016?

What are the biggest challenges facing nurse leaders?

1. Elevated nursing employee turnover rates

2. Hospital administrators who go over the nurse leader's head in their attempts to run the nursing department

3. The possibility of the nurse leader's license being referred to the state board of nursing for allegations such as 'inappropriate delegation'
