Hey madwife have been rushing around like headless chickens getting all our police checks etc requested feel like we have spent the last 72 hrs filing in forms and camped outside the post office. I would also pass on the hiking but would definitely go for the cocktails and toast the sunset.

Hi,

Have you passed the NCLEX and started the process yet? Because I just read on another thread you asking how you make up the time in paeds, maternity and mental health. IT may be years before you get here. You need to pass the NCLEX first and for that you need to be approved to take exam which means you have to complete the training required.

Moved here a few months ago, enjoy exploring. If when you get here you'd like to go hiking or out for a cocktail let me know!

it seems there are alot of AZ nursing jobs (and yes some in Pheonix).... I grew up in the San diego area...left over a decade ago..too crowded but...anyway I digress... now after living in the pac nw w/the snow Im sick of cold...and want warmer weather..am also having a hard time finding work as an RN new grad here....

So.... hows the air quality in Pheonix? Cost of living ? Traffic? Anybody know about Scottsdale? they are offering some interesting relocation...then there is Northern Az Healthcare... same deal...Then over in Tucson...morejobs...

Then up in Irvine (CA)...and Glendale (CA)..Los Angeles (CA)...Duarte CA (I dont know where that is)..And even, Dallas, TX....

Jobs aplenty it appears. Is this all too good to be true? Oh yeah and Pheonix of course....

Thoughts? Pros/Cons??? Pm is welcome also.

Are you able to do these whilst still at uni cos I don't think there really is anywhere in the UK to make these courses up? I know OPG are talking about providing courses but not sure how that works out.

Once passing NCLEX you are still looking at 6 months going through the immigration process

Wish you well on your journey and hope it goes to plan

I agree AZ is completely beautiful. I drove East to west while going to San Diego, and then drove south to north driving to Tennessee............Flagstaff is my favorite!

Whenever anyone asks my son where he has been on our travels, the first place he mentions is AZ. ( we didn't even live there, only drove through)
