What are the admission requirements of CNI college in orange county, ca?

Published

More specifically, the registered nursing program that is 20 months long ...

I'm also interested in CNI ......how much is tuition ?

I called on Friday. The advisor sounded friendly. She said there are no prerequisite, all the core classes are included in the program. It's 20 months long, associates. The only thing is that they accept at most 24 people per session, I don't know how many sessions per year though. And it's a hybrid based which means online and course attendance. Tuition is 60,000..... What a *****. Though I wish I attended this program than my lvn program which is 32,000.... Sucks. The advisor also said that typical schedule is 8.00-5.30pm, not sure how many days a week. You have to have availability when you're in this program. And the tuition, she said students use up all resources: grants, loans, payment plans, they even take our private loans.... Sounds stressful, which is why I'm thinking of joining the army for the loan repayment program.... And also to serve haha! :))

I just passed my Teas V for this school.

The 62,000 dollars is way better than paying and going to West Coast( BSN Program is about 130,000.)

There next term starts in the Fall according to my counselor. I'm trying to get into there term starting on January 14th.

My counselor is honestly one of the best I've ever had and is really friendly.

If you plan on going ask for ****** she is gorgeous and such a great person, she helped me and my girlfriend so much and pushed us to do our requirements.

The good thing about this school is that once your fafsa is processed you need to complete atleast 70% of the full price so if you get the full ammount fafsa offers ( like me) you only need to take out a private loan of 7,000 to start in the program. The rest of the money will be provided by CNI and when you graduate you have 5 years to pay the difference off which is usually about $15,000 with no interest, once the 5 years are up the total interest you build up will add on to that which is around 15%( SO MAKE SURE TO PLAN ON PAYING THE LOAN OFF BEFORE THE 5 YEAR MARK)

The price covers all your books scrubs and even a laptop they will be giving you that you must have because it will have a program where you will do your homework. Classes are from 8AM-5PM Monday- Friday. No part time only Fulltime.

You need to get a physical, background check, pass the teas v, drug test, copies of high school and social security or I.D, and meet with financial aid before you can get an interview with the director for admittance to the program. It's an ADN program and they get really competitive to, if I were you I would try to apply for the ADN program in fall if you are serious. You can't get into the January 14th one because it's about to fill up.

Let me know if you need more info

Hopefully I get in :)

Wow thanks for the information frank. The thing that sucks is that my lvn program is 32,000, and I'm very interested in this cni college. Tuition altogether seems to be very near west coast university.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you paying for college? Right now I'm on parent plus loan, I'm 23. I'm thinking of working first as lvn to "up" my credit so I wouldn't require a copayer/signer gig when Ill need a loan. I really don't want to rely on anyone else....

I know how you feel about the cosigner. Right now I'm in the process of figuring out how I'm going to pay for my loan. I have 2 cosigners ready to put on tomorrow and hopefully they get accepted. Your only hope will either be a parent plus loan or to pay monthly fee's. I might go the route of paying monthly fee's because in reality it's doable at only 200-400 a month. Of course i have the support of my inlaws and my parents. Sallie Mae is really a tough private loan to even get. x_x wish me luck. I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do.

i am planning to attend next couple of months. I am an LVN and finished almost of my prereqs but depends on their DON if she will accept transfer. But even though she doesnt accept my classes, i will still apply. I'm so tired of waiting....

Hi lawrencencandy,

When does the next class start. I am in the same situation as you are in. I have most of prereqs done only 2 more needed. I am just so tired of waiting. I talked to one of the advisors and she said that it is at the discretion of the dean as to whether they will accept my prereqs or not. That sucks!

hey did you apply? try to apply and see if DON will accept our prereqs..

hey did you start yet?

Hey all, just wondering is this school accredited? It is brand new so it makes me nervous for not finding a job, and paying tht much money on the program.
