WGU Prelicensure '22 - '23 Houston Cohort

Nursing Students Western Governors

Updated:   Published

Hi, my full application with a requirements was submitted last week. I am just waiting to hear back. I applied for the Houston location because they have more start dates than the Woodlands location. I live very close to the Woodlands though. Anyone else has applied and waiting to see if you were admitted?

How long is your program?

@Brightify It'll be 5 terms so the same. I  was lucky enough to have mostly all my classes transferred from my previous BS in nutrition. Just communication they didn't accept which was weird but it's OK. The new program will no longer have Biochemistry but just intro to Chemistry instead. The new classes they added are intro to Chemistry, integrated applied sciences, applied algebra, and pathophysiology. For your February start date you followed the old program right???

It's okay mines had that too and it said for ADN program. knows that that's just the name of the location where you did your test at.

@Brightify Sorry to bother you, but have you spoken to your mentor already? Are you following the old program setup? I bet you're excited and nervous since you have less than 2 weeks left ?
