WGU Prelicensure '22 - '23 Houston Cohort

Hi, my full application with a requirements was submitted last week. I am just waiting to hear back. I applied for the Houston location because they have more start dates than the Woodlands location. I live very close to the Woodlands though. Anyone else has applied and waiting to see if you were admitted?

    If you don’t mind me asking this question but are learning labs in Houston? Btw I live very close to Woodlands too but I’m applying to Houston for clinicals. I’m almost done with all my requirements which is really exciting. Let me know how things go. I wish you the best on your acceptance ?

    Hey, there are several locations in Houston and surrounding areas. I haven't heard back about from WGU.

    I just found out from the time your file becomes eligible for admission is about 3 to 5 months wait. I know someone who applied for the Houston cohort; became eligible in February and got accepted in July. Just thought to let you know. Good luck for both of us…we got this?

    This is good to know because I don't qualify for financial aid and I will paying out of pocket. This will give me time to get a financial plan together.

    I still have 2 requirements I need to do but my file says in review. I took an appointment with my advisor for next week. You could schedule an appointment and ask if there’s anything is missing.

    Oh OK. I have already done that step back in August. Your advisor will give you the information you need. Make sure you have everything turned in by then. If not you will have to schedule another appointment before they send everything over to the nursing department. My status has not changed yet.

    I called and they said November is full and that they’re start picking for December very soon.
