I would advise against doing any term breaks. The reason being they may or may not have room for you in the next cohort and you would have to wait for the following cohort to realign. For instance, if they take 10 per cohort and all 10 are still in that cohort when you need to align then you will not be put in that cohort and will need to wait until a cohort has less than the max that a cohort can have. So you're graduation date will just keep getting pushed back. However, sometimes emergencies happen and I understand that but if at all possible try not to.
