Hello everyone! I hope that your nursing journey is going well! I am interested in knowing if anyone within the group plans to apply to the Nov. 2018 cohort for the FL WGU prelicensure program. I am in the enrollment process at the moment but it would be nice to connect with others that have the same plans.
Hey Everyone!
I have applied for the Nov 1st cohort as well. I was told by my enrollment counselor that they accept 10-12 out of 40 applicants for this round. She said they look at the Teas and GPA most heavily, then move to other stuff like essays, letters, etc. I would love to chat with any of you about your stats or opinions of the program! Best of luck to everyone.
I'm anxiously awaiting the news on whether I got in or not. It's the only program I've applied to. Although I'm confident in my application, knowing that 40 people have applied for 10-12 spots makes me nervous. It's been difficult trying to find information on what makes you a competitive applicant. I know overall TEAS score and reading subscore are important to them. We will see! Good luck everyone! Not that it's in our hands anymore now haha.
I got into the Tavares Cohort which starts in December!! I can't wait for the journey to start. Congratulations Kel29 and everyone else that got in!! For those of you that did not get into a cohort keep on trying. You can do this whether it is through WGU's program or another program you can do it.
