  1. Hi Kat_ Great TEAS score! I didn't apply for the Aug 2018 because I still felt insecure about taking the TEAS. I decided to go for Spring 2019, still haven't taken the TEAS smh lol. I am very nervous and still overwhelmed. I take it next week. I'm praying God/Universe is on my side:)
  2. Hi Halcyon_Mercedes, Thank you for the words of encouragement and the offer with books and notes. I have plenty of those, just overwhelmed with everything smh lol. I take the TEAS next Wed the 26th. I know, cutting it very close. I feel so under prepared. I'm sure you will get in too. What was your TEAS overall score? Reading and Math Stats?
  3. Hi Halcyon_Mercedes, I am going to try to apply for spring of 2019. I originally started this post and was shooting for the Fall of 2018 but had a lot going on this summer and the pressure of taking the TEAS got the best of me. Still haven't taken the TEAS. I'm aiming for Sept 26th. I know it's cutting it close but I'm still not confident I'll do well and get in because my gpa is very low 3.14. What about you?
  4. Congrats! Those are great scores. You should be fine. Good luck on your journey. Keep us posted:)
  5. Hi I apologize for being MIA. Yeah it's definitely a bummer how we both got derailed. I will definitely look into study.com for the history I need. The only thing is with the science portion, I don't think you can do study.com because it requires a lab and I don't believe study.com was an option when my enrollment counselor sent me a link of the schools/programs they accept for pre-reqs. No worries about your stats, thanks anyways. I've decided to apply for Daytona State College Bridge program for Spring of next year and if I don't get in. I'll apply for WGU May 2019 program, since both require the TEAS. I just had a lot going on and couldn't make the Sept 1st deadline. I take the TEAS Sept 26th. Best of luck to you. I leave in Palm Coast BTW

  7. Hi there, I started the process for enrollment to the Nov 2018 FL cohort this past May, but ran into a road block with my pre-req sciences. My science gpa is too low. I was advised by my enrollment counselor to retake at least one of them. Sciences are my weak spots. I also have to take a history. I'm frustrated because I have my A.A. degree already and didn't need the history to graduate. I joined the Facebook group for WGU Pre-licensure BSN group and they were very encouraging through my frustrating journey. At the end of the day, in order to qualify for the Nov 1st cohort. I have to retake a science and get an "A", take a history and not to mention the TEAS 6. When I started my journey, I thought I only had to take the TEAS 6:( If you don't mind me asking. What is your Stats....science gpa, overall gpa and TEAS 6 scores???
  8. Hi Kat, Congrats! If you don't mind sharing....what was your stats?? GPA and TEAS scores??
  9. Congrats on graduating and passing your boards on the first try. I know that feeling, I am a LPN and I passed my boards with 75 questions in 35 minutes. Shocked the whole room when I got up from my seat to walk away lol. Left there with all the confidence in the world because my program prepared me well and I bought the ATI/NCLEX review kit and practiced like crazy with the computer simulated NCLEX questions. I stopped studying a few days before my exam and relaxed, spent time with my family and watched comedy, action and love story movies:) I know cramming at the last minute was not for me. It worked then, so once I get into a program (hopefully DSC) it will work for me again:) Thank you for your feedback and positive vibes. I hope you are doing well with your nursing career. Btw, I'm applying for the transitions, I hope I do well.
  10. I agree, I say apply if you feel confident that your TEAS is competitive. Good luck!
  11. Congrats on your stats. You definitely have a shot at getting in. Good luck!
  12. @bgreaver06 congrats on your stats. You did very well. You should be fine:)
  13. Thank you for your response....sorry for the delay. I started to give up on this site. Have you taken the TEAS yet?
  14. Hi, Am I missing something?? No comments. I haven't posted anything out the ordinary that others have posted about the TEAS Test at Daytona State College in the past. This is crazy!
