I plan to get my MSN in leadership from WGU, curious to see if anyone got a job with this degree as a director of nursing, chief nurse, or any executive administrative nursing position in general?
Looking to get this so I can get out of bedside nursing and be at a desk. I already have leadership abilities and roles that I fill everyday as a Active Duty military nurse. The military makes you do both clinical bedside and management along with a million other things so I want to make the choice to just be an administrator full time.

Yes, I've been a service line director with my MSN from WGU. I have not had the desire to go beyond that, and at this time I prefer frontline management, because I can still wear scrubs and put my hands on patients now and then.

Please advise, thanks.
