So I got my BSN from WGU in 2016 and loved it. Took me 8 months to complete. Wondering how long the MSN In Leadership has taken everyone to complete?

What types of assignments do you typically do weekly for the MSN program at GCU?

Is anyone currently enrolled or has recently finished the MSN in Leadership at WGU? Did you enjoy the program? How many papers per class? Any advice would be helpful?
I just finished the MSN at WGU. Took me 7 months. Mostly papers. 1 or 2 per class
Thank you for your quick response! 7 months? That’s amazing! Congrats! How many hours or days per week did you devote to the program? Also, any discussion forums or exam/tests? Thanks so much!
No discussion groups, thats why I chose WGU. You do have to do these short videos but its super easy. I studied various amounts. I already work quality/risk so for me it was just writing the papers.
Awesome! Thank you for the info! Super helpful

@NurseCDT, MSN hi! I know this is a old post, but I am trying to decide between programs- the fact that you did this within 7 months is amazing! Can I connect with you to see how you scheduled your courses out? I was told it has to be done within 2 semesters / 1 year so you have to divvy up the courses. I am not working RN so I have the time to take classes- but would love guidance on how you went about it
Hi. I didn’t plan anything out actually. With WGU I have always just started on class 1 in the program and knocked them out one at a time in order. I got super lucky and had amazing mentors for both programs! The last 4 classes in the MSN all consist of your capstone paper (in sections) so that’s even pretty simple. I work full time and did it pretty quickly so I know you can too!
