I started in December 2021. Love the program and the fact that it is mostly online and self paced.

Hi y’all, I know there’s 5 hospitals for Houston in total and I’m wondering if I can ask my advisor what hospital I would like to get in. I just don’t want to drive 90+ miles for clinicals.  Am I being too picky? I feel my advisor would be kinda annoyed so that’s why I’m asking y’all first LOL ty!

To be honest, if I were you, I would tell my advisor that I want to be considered for all locations. Reason being is that you won’t have clinicals every day or even every month. Most of the program is all online. Clinicals don’t start until month 8. Then, after that, you’ll only have clinicals about every 3 or 4 months ( for a 3 week span)

The program is competitive to get in, so if you get a spot (no matter where it is), I think you should take it.
