Hi everyone! I didn't see a post for people applying to Westminster's CRNA program for 2024 start, so I figured I would start one. I figured whoever wanted to could share their experience, stats, interview dates, etc.
As for me, I have a little over 3 years experience, 1 year and 8 months in Med/Surg ICU, after that I transitioned to CTICU and have been here for 1 year and 7 months. I have my CCRN and CSC, science GPA is around 3.5, cumulative GPA is around 3.8. I also have been a preceptor and charge nurse in my unit.
Good luck to everyone!! I look forward to chatting with you all!

Did you attend their virtual open house on 7/18? It made me feel really good about this program, their clinical sites, etc. They also mentioned that they received like 200 or 300 applicants last year, interviewed around 70, and accepted around 30. That makes me nervous but seems to be how most programs are now. Nice to meet you, best of luck!

Hi Everyone,
I have also applied to Westminster. I have 10 years of ICU experience, including level 1 trauma. Additional areas of practice include 1 year of Open Heart and 2 years of OR. My science GPA is 3.81 and nursing 3.89. I also have CCRN certification and served in preceptor and charge nurse roles. Definitely very nervous about getting an interview and of course good performance if I get it. Thank you for this forum-wishing everyone the best of luck!!

Hi ya'll! Wow, congrats seriously for the amazing GPAs. I'm applying with a 3.2 LOL. I have 7 years CVICU, CCRN, and CSC.
- I didn't make it to the open house, for those who did make it can you share what they said they are looking for in their candidates? I'm sure is the same across the board with all the schools, but I know some schools look more into clinical practice and some more in undergraduate work...

I applied but my stats suck. By looking at your guys info, I don't think I will even get a chance to get an interview. GPA 3.4, 2 years of ICU

You never know! Lots of factors go into whether you get an interview or not. At least you can say you're trying. Some people don't even try! You got this, keep your head up!
