Same here ? Honestly the waiting game sucks. I've been having the worst time trying to contact my counselor since like December too. It's so frustrating!

Hi all, 

After we are done with the MSN-E program, could we go straight to one of their post masters nurse practitioner program? Or do we need to get experience first as a RN?

Hey penguins, who are you contacting? Some advisors have been much more responsive than others...

Their page says "WesternU College of Graduate Nursing graduates will be given first consideration when applying to the FNP program. Applicants will be required to have completed one year, full-time RN work experience". Here's more info about the post-masters FNP ?

Anyone for sure is going to continue to the FNP track at Western after the MSN-E?

What about for psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner? Do you think that’s also one year RN experience or could western graduates go straight into their program?

My counselor's name is (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I tried calling her and emailing her multiple times and she rarely responds to me. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that my counselor changed for like a week and so I tried contacting him. However, I never got a response. Who have you been contacting?

She's mine as well. I believe she was out for a month and I think (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) was the one that covered for her then. His email is [email protected]. I've had more luck with him for quicker communication.
