I, being the impatient person that I am, decided to make a thread to discuss the upcoming cycle of applications for Western University of Health Sciences, Masters of Science in Nursing Entry program.
A little about me, my undergrad is a B.S. in Public Health, but I always was interested in the nursing field. After getting my CNA license I decided that this was the field for me and want to eventually go on to become a Nurse Practitioner. I've been working on my application and I'm very nervous/excited to hear back (even though that seems forever away haha). Anyone else applying for this cycle, and if so what are your thoughts on the program??
I have an update. I just called Admissions and she said "Good news, the invites have started to go out and they will continue to go out this week and next week so keep a look out in your email." Good luck to us all, keep refreshing your emails lol!

Does anyone know when the interview dates are or when they’ll be starting? I’ve been checking this thread, my application, and WesternU constantly for updates ?
I haven't heard anything yet either. I hope some of us hear back soon! It does seem like there will be no time to prepare but from last year's application thread, it seems like we can pick from a list of dates if we get invited for an interview. But if we get Early Opportunity Day invitation, then there's only one date for that.

I’m starting to wonder if they’re even doing the early opportunity day this year! It seems like people always attended it mid January in the past. I hope we all hear soon.. I’m going crazy!
Just wanted to chime in on the above. When I went to their information session this Fall, it sounded like they may have received more applications than previous years. The dean mentioned interview notifications being sent in January. She also mentioned the early opportunity day, so if things haven't changed since the session, I think that the early opportunity day is still a possibility. ☺️ I also haven't heard anything yet, but am hopeful for this week from the messages above!
I called today and was told that they will be sending out the early admissions interview invites the last week of the month, in 2 weeks, and the interviews will be in February. I’m surprised since someone said they were told that the invites had already started being sent out. If anyone hears anything else please let me know. I’m also anxiously waiting! Best of luck to everyone ?
