Morning! Just spoke to someone from admissions and they said the email is confusing but there is no actual link to accept or decline as an alternate. We are automatically put on a list and will be notified if any decisions are made. They will be sending out an email to clarify any confusion with the alternate status by the end of today.

Again, congrats to those who've been accepted and for those of us who were chosen as alternates-don't lose hope :) best of luck everyone!

Sorry update guys! For those chosen as alternates, there will be a link to click on in an email sent out later today. If you'd still like to be considered, be sure to accept. Confirmed this through admissions just now.

For us Alternates - I emailed Alberto from Admissions and as @dearestem stated a revised link was added to our Status Page. I also asked Alberto how many total Alternates there was and when we would be notified. He said that they needed to get a tally first of all of those who Accept or Decline. Hopefully all of us Alternates will have some clarity next week. Congrats again to all of those who were accepted, hopefully us Alternates will be right behind you. We just have to wait a bit longer :nailbiting:

So this might have already been answered. But does anyone know if anyone had difficulty finding a job as an RN during the later part of the MSN because we won't be given a BSN. I'm worried about getting the 1080 hours before the FNP

@somedayfnp One of the the nurses that recommended me said she didn't have trouble. Hired to the ED no problem. But I think it'll come down to the root of what all nurses that aren't getting jobs is... pickiness.

I was wondering if anyone has contacted admissions about the number of alternates who've accepted their offers? I wanted to see if we still had a chance. When I spoke to them last week, I had initially been told that most of us alternates would not hear back until June/July, but after reading through last year's class forum, I saw that some people heard back pretty quickly.

Please post about any updates. If not, I will do my best to contact them too.

I emailed Alberto last Friday and he said that they needed to get a tally of all of us Alternates that "Accepted" the offer. I believe they were going to email us with an update after getting that tally. I was actually going to call tomorrow to see if they had an idea of how many of us were on the wait list. If you hear anything please let us know. Thanks for all your updates!!
