Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

Miss LA - I totally agree. I had a great undergrad GPA, 4.0 science/pre-req GPA, experience working with drug/alcohol addicted community and some volunteer experience. Thought my interview was OK (obviously there was room for improvement). Frustrating, huh!? Maybe more emails tomorrow. If not.... guess we have to retry! Serious let down, but nothing I can do now!

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I am really happy for all of you. I have been stalking for a while on this tread. I am waiting for a response still and hopefully it is a positive one. I was surprised to be invited for an interview in Feb. I thought that I would never had a shot this year because I have 3 pre-requisites in progress this spring semester. Well, if it didn't work out this year, I will apply again next year.

I'm trying to stay positive... Why would they interview us if we all didn't have a chance :-) I know I'm a great candidate and fit for the program... But I can't imagine hoping until the week before classes to get in though ... That would drive me nuts! If it's meant to be then it's meant to be :-)

I agree MissLa. We're all great candidates... I just think competition is fierce. I try not to take it personally.... You shouldn't either! A lot of qualified people, but minimal slots. It's rough though, I know! I'm feeling a bit down on myself too.... Hoping for an email tomirrow or an alternate letter! Hang in there :)

MissLA & Sisyer2-Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm just going to leave it up to God. My cousin applied for the pharmacy program and got in 4 days before the program started.. Better late than never =)
