Hi,

I'm interested to enroll to , I have read most of the post, it seems like WGU require as a working RN at the time of enrollment however, how do they check it, do they call to my employer to find out or something else?

Thank you.

They didn't verify mine. In fact I don't even remembering them asking.

You will need to submit your resume. I don't believe they call your employer, but I don't know for sure. There's also a background check, but I can't remember if a workplace is needed for that.

They told me I had to send in my resume. I'm not really sure how that proves anything as I could just put whatever I wanted on it but whatever. I would assume they must contact your employer but who knows.

Thanks for the reply from all. I did speak to one of the counselor over the phone, she basically told me the same thing, I need to sent in a resume, so I ask her, how do u verify, she said she will call to my employer, I'm like... If I don't provide any phone number, how do you know I still work there.

There is at least one project that will require a manager or equivalent signature in the program. I don't think anyone here would tell you to lie to the enrollment counselors, although I don't really know how deeply they would check. Maybe there is another BSN program that doesn't require employment that might better suit your needs?
