Does anybody know the price of the Summer courses? There's a pdf on the ABSN website and it looks like it's about $4500. I've tried to verify this with the school and I haven't heard back from anyone.

Hey @tarheel123! I'm not sure either. Are you talking about the pdf that shows the tuition for the whole program, or did you see a separate one just for Summer prereqs? I haven't heard anything recently about registration. Hoping to find out the schedule soon!

Hi! I think I just confused myself LOL... There's a pdf for the whole program broken down by semester (I'm attaching), but I think the price on the pdf must be for the Summer in the middle of the program. Oh well, if I find out anything I'll share!

@tarheel123 I recently spoke with financial aid about a bunch of stuff concerning cost of attendance and they were super helpful! I’m pretty sure I wrote down the cost of Summer courses. I want to say it was $175 per credit hour just for the classes. I can double check once I’m off work! I’m assuming that means it’s cheaper for this upcoming Summer since we’re just taking the pre-nursing stuff but I feel in the dark about a lot of things LOL so I don’t want to misinform!

I called financial aid at WCU and I had 2 people tell me that since the promise tuition does not apply during the Summer courses, each credit is billed at 175$/ credit hour. The 4500 I believe is for the middle of the program. For this Summer's prerequisites, it would depend on how many credits are in those 3 classes we need to take which I believe are 10 credit hours.

Okay great! That’s what I was hoping was the case. Also no I haven’t seen either facebook or homeplace yet, but I’ve been checking. Hopefully we have access soon!

Also if any of you have to register for any other pre-reqs like me ( I have to take chem 133 cause I’ve only taken organic chem and not biochem ?) I recommend contacting your academic advisor for your alt-pin for registration. It was kind of an inconvenient process waiting for email replies for me trying to do this so I can register for the class on Friday

@Mere thanks for letting me know hopefully we have access soon, I have been trying to look at places near that area.  I am currently taking that pre-req right now and if you have taken organic before, it will not be hard for you. I had only taken gen chem 1 and its not bad.
