Is anyone following the name change of Western Career College to Carrington Career College? If so, do you know if the admission requirements will change or remain the same? I am currently in the ARMY and in Iraq, spending my time studying the HESI Evolve Reach 2nd edition. I will be touring the school when I get stateside this August. I'm really nervous that the admissions counselor will see my 8 years in the service as a bad thing. any positive thoughts will help along with useful information is appreciated. My partner is an LVN in Sacramento and will be working full time while i go to school. I'm very fortunate for that. :)

The name change will not affect the admissions standards at Western Career College - soon to be Carrington College California. Check out www.whycarrington.com. Thank you for your service.

I know only a little bit about Western Career College, but assume that the admissions process will stay the same. I know people here in Sac who attend and they only mentioned the name change and no other changes.
I think that your choice to serve in Iraq is a decision I am very grateful for and I want to tell you THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE to our country and I hope that you are able to accomplish all of your other goals easily and efficiently once you are back stateside.
Vintagemother,
thank you so much for yuor kind words. I do appreciate them. I am just thankful that my job allows me to be in a safe place here in Iraq, and not in harm's way like some of my other Brothers and Sisters. they are the true heroes. not some office mouse like me. :))
DmKaye,
i've contacted the admissions person a tthe school, and he assured me that the admissions requirements are still the same. Just the name is changing. Thank goodness.
