Westchester Community College (WCC) Fall 2013

My buddy got a 91 and he asked **********. He said that only 2 people received a score in the 90's. With that grade I'm sure you'd get in.

thanks timothy. WCC seems so sketchy with nursing admissions, but i hope you are right. Money is definitely a factor for me, so I kind of have all my eggs in one basket. Good luck to everyone!

From what I've been hearing, and yes I hear things a lot, WCC has a lack luster program. I don't know if I'm to believe that statement, because I have never went through the program or even attended an information session. I'm just going by what I hear.

I took the TEAS but have made alternate plans because of my score(75.3) I scored higher in the science than i did on the practice but my last score was alot lower than I expected. I was probably getting tired. Thanks noel dor posting the new info, I was going to post it as well. Good luck to all of you! I am going to to apply to CNR and Dorothea Hopfer for the spring. Hoping to increase my gpa in the fall(at a 3.7 right now).

Hi noel877 have you (or anyone else) heard anything form WCC. I spoke to someone in the Nursing department and then told me that the letters start going out early May. I also spoke to someone in admissions that told me my TEAS score "sounds" good (whatever that means). I'm dying to know something. Last year people go phone call in April asking what Program they where interested in; Day or Night. Any info out there?????????

I haven't heard anything either. I hope it is early may I want to know now!

I've been told that i am guarantee a spot in the nursing program. My personal overall score is 96.3% and my national/program is 99.9%. I've heard so many stories of people with 70's getting in and people with high 85's not getting in. I don't know if this is true or not or people are trying to scare me because of my score. I took the exam on March 9th 1PM and the lady who was there looked at my printout and smile saying "See you in the nursing program." Right now i have a perfect GPA of 4.0, got all my prerequisites + microbiology + pharmacology. Good luck guys!
