West Georgia Tech ASN program

Has anyone applied to west ga tech ASN program? I applied to the newnan campus for summer 2013. Does anyone know what an average gpa/teas score or competitive selection score is for those that were accepted to any of their campuses?

I know me either. I am still scouring the internet to see if I can find another cohort who had a meeting prior to acceptance

I know a girl who just recently finished, waiting on graduation... and I know they didnt, and that was the class 2 yrs ago, and I havent seen where the last yr class had one..

I guess we will have a better idea on Monday when we get to the meeting. I will be counting each person to see how many are there.

I am also scared to, what if these are interviews and they are being sneaky sneaky about it. Oh, gosh I just scared myself.

Then again, whilst I want to know if I've been accepted I'd rather not find out in front of other people because I am likely to break down in hysterics if I don't get in the program.

yeah I know, I dont have high hopes of getting in already, but it says following the meeting we will find out about admission. Do you know many other people that applied to the murphy campus?

No... None at all...just the people here. I just think that if we had to wait for letters in the mail is would have said "notification of acceptance letters will be mailed following the meeting" or something to that effect, right?

yes I think you are right.. but also I dont think they would tell someone in person if they didnt get in, if all of the people around them did get in.. and the numbers of spots went of "all of the sudden" its all kinda weird to me, but in a good way! lol

I want to be so positive and optimistic about it too....I want to think and feel that those that received the email, attend the meeting are in and we will be told of our acceptance and we will get all of our paper work etc. But then the other side of me is like, "don't get your hopes up....there were so many other people who probably had better scores than you"

Or if its like someone said earlier, they take more than 20 bc people can't hack it or quit.

I thought the CNA would weed out people who can't handle feces, urine, vomit, and blood...so....

IT's interesting too on the one hand that the 2 other email addresses on my email were the Dean of Health Care science and a member of the RN dept. And that we were told to RSVP.....that HAS to mean something.
