West Georgia Tech ASN program

Has anyone applied to west ga tech ASN program? I applied to the newnan campus for summer 2013. Does anyone know what an average gpa/teas score or competitive selection score is for those that were accepted to any of their campuses?

I got my score today...88.45 :/

Oh man, I am glad to find this website. I too have applied for the Waco program and just today received a letter stating my score and a separate email regarding the required meeting next week. I am reading into that email like crazy trying to make it seem like more than it is. I think we are all feeling very anxious at this point!

If one of us called the school and asked how many people applied, would they tell us?

I did get an email too...I applied last year w/ a 93 and didn't get in and they don't give any reason or explanation why or how many spots, etc.

So then this meeting is an extra big deal as I can not find where they have ever done it before.

A friend of mine just left the school. She says the woman there told her there were 90 qualified applicants and all 90 have been invited to the informational meeting on Monday. She also said she didn't see many TEAS scores higher than 80. They won't be telling us on Monday who is in the program. They have to give everyone time to "contest" their scores if they need to. I just got my letter yesterday in the mail informing me of my score and I don't have anything to contest but who knows about the rest of the group.

Wow, 90 invitations, that is a lot of emails. Why are they holding a meeting though? I just have to wonder. This is so different than what they have done in previous years and highly different from what they did a few months ago for the Newnan campus.

I suppose we will see what this is all about on Monday.

How's everyone's nerves and/or anxiety level? I haven't peaked yet.....my anxiety will probably peak on my drive to Waco.

I bet they are just giving us a good description of the program, so they can accept the 30 people and they will actually stay in the program, bc I know alot of people get in and then drop a week later.. I
