West Georgia Tech ASN program

Published

Has anyone applied to west ga tech ASN program? I applied to the newnan campus for summer 2013. Does anyone know what an average gpa/teas score or competitive selection score is for those that were accepted to any of their campuses?

Has anyone heard how many students applied to the murphy campus?

did everyone else receive an email?

I got the email. It said they will take 30!! So that's 10 more slots!! It said notification of admission will follow the meeting....so does that mean immediately following...or we have to wait for the mail?

thats what I am confused on, I have never known them to have a meeting like this before they send out letters.. It sounds like to me. they will tell us after the meeting...

I read it to my hubs and he said it could mean they will tell us at the meeting, but it is debatable. I did some "googling" and the only meeting that past years have gone to is an orientation type meeting which was after acceptance letters. So I'm still freaking out. Since the meeting is required I am wondering if that means they exclude anyone qualified who does not attend.

I am sure if you dont show up, it will take away your spot.. since it is required. It it just strange to me.. it has really got me wandering.. I am just wandering if not to many people applied considering you have to have your CNAs now, that was a big change.

I am wondering too....since the email said to RSVP....if that means something specific too....like as far as knowing who is coming, to know who to print an acceptance letter for? I am so reading between lines but I just can't help it. I want this so bad!

Didn't the Newnan campus for this summer have to have their CNAs?

Well I was thinking I had no chance, but that gave me a little hope.. keep reading between the lines, because it makes me excited haha! yes I think every campus had to have there CNAS. I want it bad too.

I am interested in the fact too that the number changed from 20 to 30. I was told by the advisor in Student Affairs that they only take 20...so this is big news...good news I think.

Now, I need to figure out what to wear.

yeah that is a good question.. it just makes me think not tons of people applied.. I guess we will find that out when we get their..

or a lot of people applied but weren't qualified....no CNA, grades, or even no CPR

yeah you are right.. what are you thinking on to wear?
