Ok so I am new to this but I would like to go the best route to get my education and fast! A friend of mine recently told me about West Coast Univeristy and I was thrilled because I need to work and go to school at the same time. Heck I did a year of lpn school so 18 more months couldn't hurt. I know that all schools have their problems as my lpn school had a lot, but I just would like to know what I am going to get myself into with this school. I would like to hear from people who attend because I think that it is better to hear from your mouths than from the admission reps. I graduate from lpn april 09, but my plan is to work for about 6 months untill my student loans come knocking on my door. Then I plan on enrolling into the school. I am doing my research now. I really don't want to take the jc route because i need that structure. I do well under pressure so accelerated programs are for me. I just want to know what I will be getting myself into. Thanks!

You'll be getting into $60,000+ worth of debt if you attend West Coast University. If you have no prerequisite classes completed, $60,000 is the tuition you'll pay for the chance to earn an RN license.

west coast is expensive, but u will be done in 18 months. classes are 3 days a week. first 9 months are pre-reqs and the last 9 months are nursing core classes. I just got my LVN license and I'm thinking of going to west coast. I went to their info session, their passing rate is very high...i think it would be worth the money....i would rather pay the 60G and be done in 18 months than being on a waiting list for years.....u have to do what u think is best for you... Good Luck with whatever path u decide to take.

I was thinking about attending West Coast Univesity for the ADN program once I am done with LVN school. I haven't even started LVN school yet... at least not until July, lol. I am very excited that my dream of becoming a nurse is finally coming true! So good luck with whatever you decide to do lildiptalia.
