  1. I was very relaxed before and during the exam. I started freaking out day after I took it because I kept doubting myself too much and started losing hope. btw, most of my friends who took their exam in January got the results in a week. It only took longer for the people who took it around the holidays.
  2. hi there lonelytoday.....i did pass my exam...i got the letter about 2 weeks ago. i would suggest u dont listen to anybody's negative comments, try to keep yourself busy if you can. Keep thinking positive, and keep praying!! Good Luck!!!
  3. my computer had also shut off at 85 , and i passed. i m in california too, and took me 2 weeks to get the letter...good luck to all of you!!
  4. west coast is expensive, but u will be done in 18 months. classes are 3 days a week. first 9 months are pre-reqs and the last 9 months are nursing core classes. I just got my LVN license and I'm thinking of going to west coast. I went to their info session, their passing rate is very high...i think it would be worth the money....i would rather pay the 60G and be done in 18 months than being on a waiting list for years.....u have to do what u think is best for you... Good Luck with whatever path u decide to take.
  5. the number of questions dont matter. I also thought 85 was the magic number but that isn't true. I know some people who passed at 86, 87, 110, 205. So dont be worried about the number of questions, I didnt have any calculations either. I did have a lot of priortization, and infection control. About 8-9 meds and 4 SATA. I think you did great!! Try to distract yourself, i know "easier said than done", because i also went thru the same anxiety. You can't do much but wait for the results. I got mine in about 16 days. Good luck to you!!
  6. I passed too with 85 questions. I was so scared that i had failed, but I did pass. All my prayers have been answered, and my hard work has paid off..Good luck to all who still waiting for the results
  7. OMG...I PASSED......i finally got the letter after two weeks, and i still can't believe i passed. thank you everyone for all the support here!!!
  8. They are accredited. But u might want to think about going there if u want to go further for BSN. I heard only university of phoenix will accept the ADN from WCU. It might not be transferble to community colleges or UC schools.
  9. I've heard about this school and went to their info session too in Ontario. It is a good school, their passing rate is about 92-95%. 18 months long, and 3 days a week. You need to have your LVN license and GPA of 3.0 to be enrolled into their program. The only downside is the tution fee. Its about 67K, which I think is way tooooo high. First 9 months are pre-requisites and the last 9 months are RN classes. I am thinking of going there as I don't want to be on any waiting lists at any JC. I think it would be worth it in the end. Hope that helped!!
  10. Hi, I've also heard about a school called Nightingale International in los angeles area (Graden Grove to be exact). They have LVN to BSN bridge program, and costs from 30K to 36K, 18-22 months long. You would have to travel to the Phillipines for a month for clinicals, but could also count LVN years of experience as clinical hours. I was looking into that program but I do have doubts also. I sorta know the people who are running that school but I'm not sure if that would still be a wise decision to make. I would say do your reseach before enrolling into any of these kind of schools. Good luck!!
  11. wow...congratulations.....ur wait is over, and mine still continues for another 3 weeks or so........uggghhhhh......the wait is killing me :-(
  12. yeah...try to distract yourself...i took mine last week, and still have about 3 more weeks till i get the results as i m in california....i am catching up on the movies i missed while i was in school....hehe, that way i m also distracted from thinking about the exam and btw, my test also was like yours, tons of "priortization" and some drugs i had never seen before, and shut off at 85...Good luck to us!!
  13. hey..i know how u feel...i took mine two days ago and also stopped at 85.. i left Pearson all happy thinking i passed as most people do say that 85 is good number to stop at. But as the day went by, i started getting anxious and now i am not sure how i did. i didnt find the exam as tough as i was expecting it to be and now i keep thinking the computer shut off soon as i might've not been doing so well. and just like u i feel semi confident and then second guessing myself at the same time. I am in california so i have to wait 3-4 weeks for the results. Lets hope we both pass, and keep praying!! I am trying to hold onto any faith i have left in myself
  14. i only got about 9 medications and the ones i got didnt repeat themselves at all. there were couple of meds that i had never seen before. and i dont understand why we have to wait so long to get the results in California. They have no idea the kind of anxiety we go thru while waiting for the letter. i m trying my level best not to think about it but can't help it ....will keep everyone posted!! and thanks again for the support everyone...
  15. thank you for the support everyone!! is it true what people say about getting more SATA questions is good to pass at 85??? i barely had 5 and i didnt think they were very hard...i graduated with 95% average and i did study hard for the NCLEX but i still feel it was easier than what i expected it to be...
