West Coast 2020-2021

Published

I have applied and just sent in my transcripts to West Coast North Hollywood. I have a telephonic financial aid appointment coming up next week and am just curious if anyone knows exactly what is going to be talked about in the financial aid meeting? And when do they usually let you know if you're accepted or not?

I hope school will still somehow be in session regardless of the virus or not. I am extremely excited to start school.

If anyone is a graduate of West Coast University, or if anyone knows someone who graduated - how long did it take after graduation to find a job, and where was the job? (Hospital, clinic, salon...)

I applied to North Hollywood campus.

Straighterline is 100% online. You do not need to go through any process of applying. You simply register and then pay for the classes you want to take. From what I understand they provide the study material, tutoring, quizzes and final exams. I think the exam is proctored somehow. It is self pace. WCU accepts up to 12 credits.

I priced a chem class with lab to be about $220, which includes their monthly membership fee. That is a heck of a lot cheaper than WCU and my hope it to knock out 3 classes before my Jan 2022 start date. I wouldn't have been able to do that through community college.

Thank you for the info , and good luck ! I am thinking I should be good to go after jan , looking forward to attending NOHO campus as well .

Hello, I was wondering if any of you will start on the January term (NOHO campus). I will be doing the BSN program.

anahi - same here. I'm not sure exactly what status that means. Do you? I feel like there is some final step for acceptance, officially acceptance. I signed my financial aide papers on 9/11.

Hi everyone! I'm applying to the Orange County campus for Jan, just need to sign my financial aid papers.

Is anyone else going to be at the OC campus?

Hello! If I have all the prerequisites/TEAS score and if accepted what would be the soonest I could start? Also do I start off by attending an info session online? If someone can please give me some direction. Thanks
