Hey Future RN's & LPN's,
I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat
This is for RNJax2b: I am sorry about your failed test.
Often when I find myself in a sticky situation like that and I feel like my world just came apart; I try very hard to compare my siutation to those who have it a lot worse than I.
So on the positive side for you: This is not the end of being a RN. It just means that you will have to study harder and one positive aspect is that you now know what to expect. Also, I know of some of my classmates who are still attempting to pass that Hesi exam to exit school and if they do not pass that exit exam at a certain time they never even get the chance to take the Nclex.
Therefore; I am sorry for your pain that you feel at this moment. Do your crying and feel sad for a couple of days. Wait until Monday before you even try to look at books again. Start out on Monday with a study plan and dont study. Just get yourself a plan together. For example: What times will I study, which days will I take off. What subjects do I feel I need to review the most....etc. Write that plan down and than start your studies on Tuesday again...
You will pass...next time...for you do have a next time ....
Aleena that is a good score. I think you will be just fine. If you have a headache you are better to take a break. I am sure you done enough. Close the books and watch some TV, tomorrow go over lab values maybe and that is it. I am so happy for you!!! I wished I could already close those darn books.
I have a rhythm with my studying. I do tests and take breaks in intervals and around eight I am done studying all together. I feel confident that I will be successful. I go for a run around six every night to free my mind and well I am now only 7 days from taking my Nclex and 5 Days study days. I take off tomorrow from studying and Tuesday of course!!!
hi i just finish answering questions in saunders i got 70% in analysis and application. out of 100 questions. i will stop for a moment and watch tv i have slight headache :uhoh3:bec. of mixed SATA, and arrange from 1-6 i :confused:dont know what is that type of questions.
We both got 70% today for Saunders for 100 items. Mine was all the topics though then I did 50 for kaplan pharma and got 62%. Just try to focus on the topic of each questions, read it a couple of times and eventually u will find what they are asking for. Leave ur book behind for a minute and try to relax. :)
Yey Susanne! Thats really a good score! It always feels good to always relax at the end of the day. For me, I need to be done before hubby comes home so I can have time for him too. I've been anti-social since ive studied for nclex lol;p Can't wait to finally be over this and pass it of course. Your test date is closer, will be praying for u and everyone here.
***I really love this thread!!!! Thanks to all the support!
I've been going over the hurst review and its great! But i am starting to get lazy whixh i cant afford!! 2 of my friends took the nclex today one got 75 and the other 78 they tried the trick and it wouldnt let them pay!! Woo-hoo!! I am so happy Sept is starting off on a good start! We will keep it up! I can't wait until my day come!!! Sometimes I get tired but i keep pushing myself forward!!
I think I have been antisocial for the past two years lol. I cant wait to be a "normal" person again and go have fun with the constant thought of some exam is lurking around the corner. I have to pass this Nclex on first try, since I am in the ARMY and if I do not pass my dutystation for Germany might get lost!!! I am German ( well was, till I converted lol) and my entire family over there, including my 92 year old Grandma, is waiting for me to come home and serve over there!!!
