I see there are alot of new students so I thought I would start a thread of little tips. We can all share

WELCOME TO NURSING BOOT CAMP!

1)this jouney is a marathon not a sprint- pace your self

2)Study whenever you can

3) Do not loose sight of your goal

4) Explain to family & freinds you will see them when you graduate

5) enjoy learning new things

Little things that keep me going

like the little engine

I think I can

Like Dora from finding nemo

Just keep swimming

Like Marilyn Monrore said

I don't want to make money I just want to be wonderful

Chinese Proverb

Fall down 7 times stand up 8

Good Luck

We all have your back

Great points! Welcome and congrats to all you new LPN students. Two of my favorites are:

1. Accept that they own you for the next 12 months. When they say jump it is your responsibility to know how high.

2. You can do this! Even if 50% fail, 50% also pass and I surely was going to be in the passing 50%.

Keep your books with you in your car so if you are stuck some where

you can study.

DO NOT PUT OFF ANY SCHOOL WORK

I would only like to say, please don't let the drama get you down! Sadly, as women it will happen. Always, smile. Always.

thanks yall i just started tuesday, i know it just the first of many, but i got a 91 on my first test today i'm relax for a few seconds then get back to studying

great points!! esp #4!! I told my family/friends that I would not see or talk to them hardly this year!! They have just now come to realize that I was not joking!!! (I have been going since Jan!!)

Also, don't stress over your housework or kid's school because this is just 1 year (or however long for the rest of you) we take out of our lives. The house will be there and the kids will be okay at the end of the year....even if they don't know you!!!LOL
