Tweety glad the worst of the surge will miss you.  That must be hard on your friend, dealing with a hurricane and a dying cat

NJ22 I have never heard of that cleaning technique

Dianah I have areas like that where stuff has sort of accumulated, need to get those taken care of

Ado thanks for sharing the photo

Work was fairly quiet again yesterday, except for helping with a pharmacy issue in the afternoon.  Got all the licenses and the CCM renewed, although I have not yet gotten my new CCM certificate

Rest of the day was pretty quiet, did the grocery shopping and exercised

After work today will do some more grocery shopping.  Making a Halloween Chex mix for the potluck the gay group is having at the end of the month, and need to get some more ingredients that aren't at my usual stores.   Also decided to make today a fast day, we'll see how that works as I'm already hungry

Going to be another cooler day in the lower 70s

Good morning!

I've heard the San Diego Zoo was one of the bests.

Good luck with the fast Joe.  Maybe once you get past the morning the hunger will go away once your body decides it's not getting anything.

It's raining here and I found a leak in my roof in may garage.  At least it's out there but nothing I can do about it now.

The hurricane is still out there and going to cause havoc.  It does look like they are predicting we will be on the right side of not getting a horrible surge.  Good for us, not so good for people south.  People here haven't recovered well from the last surge.

Best friend has made it and were settled in.  His cat has done nothing but lie there and seems comfortable but has lingered almost 48 hours without food or drink or getting up.  Poor thing.  Tough to watch.

I was feeling relatively calm until I saw the leak and I'm filled with dread.  Hope the roof doesn't collapse.  But again, everything is out of my control.

Also praying for everyone's safety. And no catastrophic damage from the roof leak.

Home again and comfortable.
