Good morning!
Joe, hope it's not too busy and you don't get any new cases.
Nice pics Dianah!
I was able to get to sleep early and woke up early today again and hope the pattern remains. It's going to be cloudy and grey today but in the mid-70's and will get colder the next couple of days as a front comes through. We could really use some rain.
Otherwise a normal day. I will mop the floors, go to the grocery store before it gets too busy and maybe go to the gym.
Have a great day.
I had the alarm clock set for 9 AM and once again I must have shut it off. I also am getting good at ignoring the ringing phone. Hmmm. Maybe my subconscious brain is going on strike; it would seem so. I didn't hear SiL come in and get Nannie dressed and take her off to daycare. Naturally I have the usual household chores to do. Naturally I feel reluctant to do ANYTHING. But at least I will get up and get dressed, and that is something 'positive'. Sometimes, lately, I have felt like staying off the internet and just not posting at all. Anyway, that's it for today, other than getting Nannie from daycare at 4:45 PM..
I am inclined not to go to the iL's house for Thanksgiving dinner. SiL said she 'understands' if I don't want to go. She said she can send over some food, and she knows that often the good neighbor across the street invites me to go over and make plates for Nannie and me. I don't really care one way or the other if we get plates of T-day meals. I would be thankful for a lot of things if I didn't feel so down all the time these days. I need another 'mackerel' (miracle) to pull me out of this muddy rut.
Imma finishing cleaning house today. Bathrooms are on the list, plus vacuuming and dusting. I have a few little Thanksgiving decorations that I like to put out.
It's grey and misty and damp. In the past we've had snow on Thanksgiving, but not this year. The mountains are getting it though.
I saw this guy on my walk on Saturday.
I slept poorly last night, so had a quick nap around noon. After lunch I made soup and an apple crisp, which we had for supper.
We finished watching all eight seasons of Foyle's War. Now dh wants to watch Kenneth Branagh's adaptations of Agatha Christie, starting with Murder On the Orient Express. Next will be Death On the Nile, followed by the one done in Venice.
Everyone have a good and safe Thanksgiving!

Tweety hope you can reverse the pattern
Stars glad you'll get some relief this afternoon
Dianah thanks for sharing the photos
Ado that was nice of her to bring pies
Work was difficult. I got another new case, plus the person I was covering for got a 3rd new case. Asked for help and some other people did the 3 new cases while I worked on my 2 new ones and other tasks. Started early and cut lunch short, but had time at the end of the day to work ahead a bit. Rest of the day was fairly normal, did the grocery shopping and exercised and did the last of the Christmas shopping online
Today will start work early again, though I think there will be no more new cases, as the insurance company we work with closes early today. Or at least I hope there will be no more new cases. Other than that will be a quiet day, just exercise after work. And relief that I have the next 2 days off, and the coworker returns on Monday
Going to be considerably colder today, will be in the mid 30s, and will remain fairly cold for the next week or so
