Tweety glad she is back to normal

Stars I hope the pain eases off

Dianah that is definitely shorts weather

Ado did not know testosterone supplementation had that effect

NJ22 hope your remaining PT sessions are less chaotic

Work ended up being kind of crazy, got a ton of documents to review.  Although it will make the rest of the week easier, since I got them out of the way.  Rest of the day was pretty ordinary, picked up a Father's Day card and did grocery shopping and exercised

Nothing really out of the ordinary planned for today, hoping it will not be crazy again at work

Going to be quite warm today, think it will get up to about 90

Yep, I reckon the Prednisone has "left the building". I hurt again this morning. There won't be any projects, chores or tasks taking place today. I do have to go pick up my refills for Methocarbamol (or however it is spelled) and I am hoping it will help some with the pains ...I have been out of it for 3 days, about the same timing as when the Prednisone ran out. UGH.

SiL came and got Nannie this morning and I believe she is also going to bring her back home at the end of the day. I got up and unlocked the doors and went back to bed to sleep some more, and never heard a thing. Now if only Nannie could be taken and KEPT for a week or so, I'd be a happy camper. But I don't see that happening; more's the pity.

Other than getting dressed and driving over to WalMart Pharmacy, to get my med refill and some more  lidocaine and/or capsaicin patches, I have no plans. May have to use one or both of my forearm crutches to get around for a few days. This is not the best fun I have had in a while.

G'day.

Stars, sorry you're in so much pain and hoping you find relief.

I may be having to go to Orlando for some leadership classes because of my new position.  I'll find out later this month.  I got an email from some of them happening in June and July (there are three and it's mandatory to go all three) but I thought it was optional and didn't sign up.  I think it's going to be required.  I kind of knew this kind of stuff would be happening, but not that it would be out of town three times.  Orlando is close enough to drive after the class at 4pm but not to get there at 8:00 so I'd go up the night before.

Anyway, been doing some meal prep and watching YouTube food and travel videos.  Will go to the gym and be done with chores for the day.

Hello all!

No Stars, I hope you were able to get some pain relief, sans steroids.

Tweety, gosh, THREE mandatory classes?!!  I hope you had a good day, watching food and travel videos, and meal prepping (I often enjoy meal prepping!).

Joe, I hope today wasn't crazy at work.  Yes, those are shorts temperatures, however I tend to wear the linen pants, so I don't have to have tan and sculpted and shaved legs, LOL!

I chopped a red onion and put it in the freezer, for use with salads.  Also, I squeezed some lemons and limes I had lying around in the crisper -- and put them (in measured amounts in each plastic bag, double-bagged) in the freezer.  I also separated the keto bread I bought at the store, into freezer bags, so I can retrieve a few at a time for use in the fridge.

Last night I couldn't fall asleep till after 4, and around 3 I got a hankering for a piece of bread with butter, of all things!  I didn't get up to get it, but it was an interesting craving.

We are finalizing plans for a trip up north to a festival.  Dh is with the house-sitter now, going over The Plan For Feeding The Cats And Watching The House.  😄😄

I vacuumed today, and dusted some.  Still need to take some things (Phase One, of many phases, LOL!) to the Salvation Army, but will do that once we are home.

Have a good evening!

The closest No Kings protest is in OKC but I am willing to drive a little farther if I can avoid parking hassles.

I'm feeling tired tonight so will leave it at that.

I am tired, too, but didn't accomplish much. volunteered this morning for 3 hours, then home for lunch and a quick shower, then a hair cut. Well, actually, several hairs were cut. She took off about 4 inches and did lots of texturizing(thinning) so I don't turn into a big poof ball. I picked up my prescription sunglasses, and then home. It was too late to drop off some bandaging supplies at the community center. Someone gave them to dh for the food bank but they didn't want them. There are several packages of 4x4s, ABDs, exam gloves, and kerlix wrap. I wonder if the low cost neuter/spay clinic could use this stuff?

I finally got my zinnias planted. Most of the other seeds that dh put in the veg garden have sprouted: peas, beans, cukes and zukes. Plus tomatoes, broccoli, peppers, and onions grown from starts.

My tummy has felt weird the last few days. I will get hungry but feel uncomfortably full after a few bites.  And sleep continues to be tough.

Our county seat will have a rally on Saturday that dh and plan to go to.

Tweety, that kind of travel sounds familiar. My old employer seldom had very good education, so we had to drive 1 1/2 to 2 hours for decent continuing education. It made for a really long day, and most people had to get home to work the following day. Would your employer pay for overnight lodging? Of course, they wouldn't  cover dog sitting.

Stars, I hope your meds and patches gave you relief.
