Good morning!

Weather here is nice and in the 60's which seems normal. We haven't had a very warm Winter but it seems we're having a busy "season" with traffic being heavy no matter where I go.

Not much going on. Feel asleep with my meds early and slept to 5:10AM and am going to stay up. Have my lunches prepared and will go to the gym later.

BRIGHT sunshine and clear blue skies out there today, not sure of the temp, but it doesn't much matter since I will be indoors most of the day.

I did go to sleep earlier last night. Turned out the light at 12:30 AM! Had NO problem falling asleep. Did wake up several times during the first 3 hours, as always, and because the wind was gusting, I had to look out the window and see if any limbs had come down from the trees. None had. Then at 8 AM I woke up and decided to take my pills and go back to bed, so that when I got up again, the wear and tear on my joints from yesterdays ORDEAL would not be so profound. (Yes, Tweety, you had the exactly correct word for it!)

Then, when I came downstairs to make myself some coffee, I found a STINK BUG sitting in the coffee cup I'd set on the keurig coffee maker. I had just set the cup there last night, but had not added the sugar, so I pulled out the cup to do that, and that's when I saw the stinkbug. AUGH! I killed the bug, and put the cup in with all the dirty dishes I have to do later. I am soooo glad I didn't start the coffee and THEN find the stinkbug floating in it. What a start to the day!

Now I am having coffee from a bugless cup. I do have a full sink-worth of dishes to do, THEN, there are 3,429 towels to pull up off the floor in the den and a large stack of dry but not laundered towels, etc, PLUS the ones in the laundry basket on the washer and the ones in the dryer that are dry but not clean. So that's what I will be doing today! I would much rather go upstairs and continue settling in to my " NEW! IMPROVED! BIGGER!" bedroom, but alas, the towels get first dibs on my attention.

Momo has had her breakfast and taken care of business on the pee-pad. Now it is time to get Nannie up. (yippee-hooray-ugh.) Then I will start in on the laundering, and then eventually I can re-fill the linen closets with clean towels, flannel sheets and blankets. Jeesh! I hope the rains coming on Friday and Monday are not NEARLY as heavy; maybe I won't have to be on Leak-Patrol Duty. BiL will be bringing the dehumidifier over to suck the humidity from that corner of the den. So, that will be my day, in a nutshell. Maybe not a nutshell, because a nutshell would not encompass today's ordeal.

SiL had said she would be coming over on Thursday, but I don't know if that will be after her work (3 PM) or earlier in the day. After yesterday and today, I would HOPE I get more than a few hours. She did say she is starting on part-time, so we can figure out what day I can have totally Nannie-free. Looking forward to THAT!

Okay, all for now. No sense in dawdling, as there is a LOT to do!

Good afternoon. Another gray day here. It looks like the cold weather has been pushed out to Friday, if it happens at all. Wow, Stars, that is a lot of towels. But they don't have to be washed and folded all in one day, right?

I'm going to try my hand at carne asada tonight, that is, if dh goes to the store to get peppers like he promised. I would like a little alone time, myself. I really like to have the TV off, but that doesn't happen while he's home. He's been yelling at the TV because the head coach of the Seahawks is stepping down.

j22, no I can't do all the towels, etc, today! ? In fact the pile of laundry still in front of the washing machine covers 1/2 way up to the top of the washer! I do have one load folded and put away, and there is a load in the dryer and another load in the washing machine. // I know what ya mean about husband yelling at the TV. Used to drive me crazy!

I just finished cleaning up some of the counter in the kitchen, which was loaded with this and that and was a freakin' mess. I took everything off it and cleaned up the coffee maker, the toaster, top of the stove, the salt and pepper shakers, (gosh, they get slimy and crusty when they haven't been kept up with!)

Have to go up and get Nannie's supper dished out.

No Stars, good on ya, keeping up with the laundry! Seems it's always something. Hope the dehumidifier helps stave off any mold growing. Does the house need a new roof??? Hi and scratches to Momo!

I woke up at 0230 and didn't get back to sleep till after 7. Got up around 9. Finished my book (The Underworld, Journeys to the Depths of the Oceans, by Susan Casey). Fascinating read about exploring the deepest parts of the oceans (the "abyss"). I downloaded her book The Wave to my Kindle, wanting to read that next. NYT bestseller; Byline on the book: In Pursuit of the Rogues, Freaks, and Giants of the Ocean. As these are places I will likely never go, best to explore them safely from home. ?

I did a couple errands, and picked up some items at the grocery store. I miss having "our" car, don't much like the rental. Just not used to it, I guess. Hopefully our car will be done and back home by the end of the week.

Welp, I got 4 large loads washed, dried, and put away, but there are still at least four more loads to finish laundering. But, there are no towels on the den floor and the floor is dry! BiL brought the dehumidifier and it is 'on-the-job.' Will do more laundry tomorrow, of course. Need to take the shredding to UPS and drop off stuff at the thrift store, but when I can do that depends on what time, and how much time, SiL will be here on Thursday.

So, naturally I am exhausted once again, but I feel good that I can keep going with all of the things I want to get done, a little at a time. It is starting to show (in a good way) in certain places, which heartens me.

Okay, it is Thursday, and all I get when I click on BREAKROOM is a message that anybody can start a club, but there is no list of the days/dates where I can get in to the latest posts for the day. I have tried to go via a previous day from the notification list, but I haven't found a way to go forward to the current days posts.

HELP, please!

I didn't have any problems from my phone. Maybe you should restart your device.

I just shut it all down,and 'rebooted', but alas, no change. I'll try a few more things,see what I can come up with. So far, it is still yesterday (Wednesday). Kind of feels that way, since I have started up with the laundry pile again.
