Weatherford College Spring 2015

U.S.A. Texas

Hi just wanted to start new thread of anyone applying for the ADN May-July for admission into spring 2015 at Weathford College Main Campus. Lets support each other and help each other with any questions or concerns. How many points are y'all applying with? Does anyone know how many students they accept? When will we notified of acceptance or rejection?

Hello everyone!

I don't know if she was just saying this but Karen stated letters would go out around September 30. :-(

That is absolutely ridiculous!

That is absolutely ridiculous!

I know! I hope she wasn't serious. Maybe someone will call her and see if she has an idea of the cutoff score. I forgot to ask

Thanks for the update! I have been trying to get ahold of Karen since last week to check the status on letters as well as the cut off score and she never answers! So yes if anyone gets any information i think we would all appreciate them sharing that!

Hey guys! First time posting, but I've been following the thread since July... I just never felt like I had anything pertinent to add to the conversation, I guess!

I just got off the phone with Karen, she said the letters should go out September 30th. I also asked about the cutoff score, she said she couldn't share that information over the phone. So, I asked if one was to ask in person, if she could disclose the info. She said after letters go out she could. So no luck on getting any new information. We're all in the same waiting boat and it looks like the wait got a little longer.

I applied with 35 points. So, I know I am right on the cusp of being in/out. I did speak with the director when I dropped my application off, she said they've never had a year where people with a 35 or above didn't get in the program. So that was encouraging!

It is a smaller pool this application period due to only having 25 spots, so we'll see! Good luck to you all! I so hope we all get in.

I finally got ahold of Karen and yes as everyone has stated letters will go out by Sept 30th she said. She confirmed my points for me, 39 which is two more then I thought! So that is encouraging the director said that! Keeping my fingers crossed though.

Does anyone Happen to know how the schedule for the spring is? As far as, how many days a week class are, and so forth? Just out of curiosity.

I found this info on an old thread so I don't know if they still go by this, but it may help.

Hey guys I got accepted into TCC's nursing program! So if I get accepted to weatherford's program, that will leave a spot open! Good luck everyone :)

Congrats! I am wishing I had put my TCC app in....I went back and forth on it but decided to just focus on retaking my TEAS and getting into WC instead of studying for the HESI .....Kicking myself now lol

Well hopefully it paid off! I felt like the TEAS was much more challenging than the HESI. How many points did you have?

I've heard the TEAS is much harder than the HESI. I should have just taken the HESI and seen how I did....the idea of yet another exam just wasn't appealing at the time lol

I had 41 points on my WC app sooo I'm fairly confident in my chances (just ready to have a letter in hand)....I just wish I had kept my options open and possibly had a choice on where I wanted to be next semester.
