Hi just wanted to start new thread of anyone applying for the ADN May-July for admission into spring 2015 at Weathford College Main Campus. Lets support each other and help each other with any questions or concerns. How many points are y'all applying with? Does anyone know how many students they accept? When will we notified of acceptance or rejection?

I am applying for WC for the spring class. I am taking a couple of classes in summer I and without retaking the TEAS I should be applying with 36-37 points. (Hopefully retaking the TEAS will give me a couple more points too)...I can't remember how many are accepted but If I remember right the website said you will be notified in September.
the cut off for the fall was 35 for Weatherford campus..... so I kind of feel like I am pushing it...soooo I will be cramming for the TEAS retake so that I can bump my points a little bit
Wow I thought the cut off was like 30 points, im in trouble then lol. I only have 32 points. Maybe I should retake the TEAS. Which classes are you taken and have already taken. Sounds like you will be fine and be accepted!
the fall 2014 application period was the first time to use the new points system (48 total points). According to Karen Long the cut off for weatherford campus was 35 and wise county was 32. I'm kinda disappointed that there isn't a spring class for wise county.....(not that I really wanted to drive to wise county....but atleast it was that many more potential spaces if that makes sense).
For the summer I am taking statistics and fine arts appreciation.....I have already taken pretty much everything....All of the pre/co reqs....95% of the BSN track classes.. (I have a couple of BSN track classes I am taking in the fall that I will need for the RN-BSN bridge I want to do later....I'll take nutrition and engl 1302...and possibly a speech class)
i applied for the fall class but didn't have nearly enough points....I was finishing up A&P II and micro and didn't have both the humanities and art class to get the full BSN track points. so I am jumping from 26 points on the last application period to 36+ this period. Hopefully it works out...I am sooo ready to to start nursing school
It definitely makes sense, however, I live in Arlington so that drive would not benefit me lol. I am still needing to take Stats and I believe I will have all of the pre-reqs for the RN-BSN. This will be my first time applying so I am going to reschedule the TEAS and see if I can get a few extra points to help me. Are you using a study guide by any chance?
That is a major improvement! No doubt you will get in and good luck to you! My mistake was taking AP1 and AP2 both in the summer so I ended up with B's instead of A's :/
I really hope we get in!
I am using the ATI study guide....English is the section that killed me....I figured it would be math but nope I did surprisingly well on that section. Are you applying to TCC too? I am planning to....weatherford is my first choice for sure. I live 20 miles west of weatherford and have been driving to tcc trinity river campus for the past year and a half sooo I would really love to not make that drive anymore lol
Positive thinking :) I hope we both get in too! There is no telling what the cut off will be being as this is only the second application period with this points breakdown. Study and retake the TEAS. I dunno how many points you got the last time but a couple more points can make all the difference!
I'm pretty surprised there aren't more applicants on here for this application period.....there were quite a few on allnurses for the last application period. Although I wouldn't complain about less competition lol

I'm applying for the Spring. So far I think I have 30 points but I haven't taken the teas v test yet. Hopefully that goes well.
I am definitely with you on that! The less the better lol. Or they could just be reading the comments and not participating in the discussion lol.
@brittney1409 Thats good, and good luck on the TEAS! I am needing to retake the TEAS to try to get a few extra points since last semester cut off was at 35
@superexcited What were your scores like on the teas the last time you took it? I have never taken it so I'm a little nervous about it. But I hope don't a lot of people a apply this time. Since I'm sitting at 30 points that means I have to do really well on the exam.

Hi! I am also applying for the WC spring semester ADN program! But Ive only got 32 points after the TEAS.. I haven't taken micro or AP 2 yet, Im taking those this upcoming fall semester. I know Im on the low side when it comes to points but I figure its better to at least try applying than not! If I don't get in this semester I will certainly be reapplying in December! Not really too worried about it! Just very excited! Good luck to everyone!
If we have taken say English 2 and a Humanities class do we get points for just those two classes? Or do we have to have the full 25 hours to receive points for BSN track classes?
