Hello everyone! So I have decided in my nursing program pursuit that I am going to go ahead and apply to the weatherford college lvn program and then bridge. Does anyone know what kind of schedules we will have? Trying to get an idea of work schedule vs school schedule. I am also going to take the compass help class to get a feel for it but im wondering if I should go on and try to take I it this week also just to get an idea what its like?? Anywho, if theres anyone else out there that will be applying with me come say hi! Oh also I will be commuting from masfield let me know if I have any close buddies for study groups if we get in!
Yea thats what I told my friend. to just stay positive and pray. a friend on mine is in the RT program right now and she was an alternate and then they called her a week before the program started and told her she was in. I have 14pts going in but im still nervous!!! I just hate not knowing. from weatherford from the board...everything. Im too much of a planner!
Ugh that makes me nervous now! I mean I was always nervous. But more nervous about the BON and not getting into the program. I felt that I had a good shot. Obviously its not guaranteed so I was/am still biting my nails....but more on the getting clearance from the board...
Has anyone had to ever do a Declaratory Order before?
yea Ive tried searching for it and even posted another thread...no luck. Karen seems to think i have plenty of time. we shall see! I go to do my fingerprints friday!
You should be ok getting it done now. When I was looking into Tcc we had the nursing director come speak to our class and he really pushed the importance of getting that part done as soon as you apply and as long as it's in the works by the time classes start and the department knows then you should be ok
yea I talked to both karen and the director. They both said I have to have clearance before classes start They are both class C mis. one was sealed bc I was a juvi and the other was dismissed 6 years ago. I was able to get my fingerprints moved up to tomorrow. I am just praying it doesnt go to the enforcement dept. cause I heard thats the one that takes the longest.

Also, Im not sure if Karen told anyone else this...she said that the last 3 cycles of applicants 8pts and up have gotten in. She also said that she has been at WC for the last 15 years and every year 14pts and up have gotten in. That might help give yall an idea. Im honestly hoping 4pts and up get in. My best friend applied today and she only has 4 pts
