Weatherford College fall 2014 adn applicants

I am applying for WC this Dec/Jan for fall 2014 Rn program. I am going to re-take my teas this month to hopefully improve my score. If I get in I will be driving from Hurst. Hopefully it won't be too bad of a drive.

Quick question. When registering for the drug testing, the pink paper says Bridgeport campus. Does everyone else have the same thing?

Mine says at the bottom "Program Selection: ADN Nursing-Weatherford Campus. Is that what your talking about?

Yes. OK I guess it depends on the campus. I am an alternate for Wise so that makes sense :)

Does anybody know how many alternate spots there are for the Wise County Campus? I got an alternate spot there and have 32 points......just trying to figure out where I sit!!

Who is everyone going through to get your CPR certification? I had my certification years ago, but it's expired so I have to redo it.

The campus should have some classes on campus. That is where I had mine done last year so check with student services for their continuing education courses.

I got in at TCC today so I'm not going to accept my Weatherford spot. I hope one of the alternates on this board is able to get in now. I was at the main campus and my friend was at Wise and she is going to TCC as well so here will be another opening there. Good luck, y'all. I'm so excited for this next chapter of life.

Im a alternate for the Wise County Campus and I had 31 points I believe!

Has anyone taken their acceptance/decline letters to Karen yet??

I just spoke to Karen and she told me that there are 25 accepted and 13 alternates at the Wise County Campus. She told me that some semesters all the alternates get in and some only a few!! Lets keep our hopes going alternates because we are that close to being there!!

I faxed my acceptance letter and mailed it on Sunday. KL sent me an email stating she received my fax for acceptance. I also payed for my drug test and emailed that receipt. I guess I'm going to work on my varicella titer. That is the only vaccince I had left. I had chicken pox as a child so I hope my titer shows positive. Otherwise I pay for the titer and then pay for 2 shots.
